Caring for You

Life isn’t meant to be lived alone. All Saints Anglican is here to help you through the best of times and the most challenging times. Here are some of the ways we are here for you.

At All Saints Anglican we believe children are a gift from God, and we are very excited that you are investigating child dedication or baptism. Child dedication is a public commitment you make before God, your church, and your family. The dedication service provides you, the parent(s), an opportunity to express publically your desire to lead and spiritually nurture your child so that your child will develop a desire to love God and love others. If you would like to arrange a child dedication or baptism please contact our Rector (Lead Pastor) (02) 4981 5976 or email moc.y1591014242ks@hs1591014242ekver1591014242

Several times throughout the year, the church will schedule a Water Baptism for people of all ages.  The baptism is always preceded by a brief instruction of what it means to be immersed in water and be baptised.  We encourage you to invite your friends and family to come and watch when you take part in this life changing experience. It’s always a joyous celebration of God’s goodness.  Contact Kesh on 02 4981 5976 or email moc.y1591014242ks@hs1591014242ekver1591014242

Your wedding day is one of the most important days of your life, so it makes sense to choose a celebrant you feel comfortable with. Our Ministers are able to perform weddings in any location. We will work with you to create a personalised, beautiful and memorable ceremony, providing you with flexibility and freedom, whilst guiding and accommodating your personal wishes. If you are exploring getting married contact our Rector (Senior Pastor) on (02) 4981 5976 or email moc.y1591014242ks@hs1591014242ekver1591014242

We would love to be involved in helping you to have the best wedding service possible.

When someone you love dies, nothing can take away the pain you feel. We understand that losing someone close to you is very distressing. It may be difficult to make decisions or to know what to do, especially if the death is sudden and unexpected. In addition to the emotional strain, you may need to take care of practical matters such as organising the funeral service. We are here to help you through one of life’s most difficult times. If you need to speak to someone please contact our Rector (Senior Pastor) (02) 4981 5976.

Every year, on Advent Sunday, we hold a special service for those who have lost loved ones. You will receive an invitation a few weeks beforehand.  During this simple and moving service, the names of loved ones are read out, and there is an opportunity to light a candle and say prayers in their memory.

All Saints Anglican has a compassionate team of volunteers who visit patients in the local Nursing and Residential Homes and in the hospitals in and around Newcastle providing encouragement and support to the sick and aged in our community.  Each visit is a wonderful time to share in their lives and to take time to pray for them. If you or someone you know requires hospitalisation, whether it be an emergency or an extended stay, it would be our privilege to come and visit.  Call our Parish Office on (02) 4981 1839.

A team of trained lay people are available to bring Holy Communion to those who are unable be present in church due to sickness or immobility. Those wishing a Holy Communion visit at home can contact the Pastoral Care Team at the Parish Office on (02) 4981 1839.
